Job purpose:
UFUUD is looking for an ambitious online direct marketer to be responsible for developing and executing demand generation campaigns to drive leads for our site to nurture existing prospects and retain our customers. The online marketing and lead generation manager will develop integrated online marketing programs designed to drive traffic, leads, high response rates and quality opportunity conversions.
The Manager of Online Marketing & Lead Generation is responsible for generating qualified leads. This candidate develops and tests innovative online lead generation programs and campaigns from concept to backend analysis and uses traditional and new media vehicles to provide a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
This individual is responsible for managing and optimizing lead generation efforts, including PPC campaigns, end-to-end website registrations processes, SEO, co-registration and affiliate marketing programs, grass roots, and in particular social media marketing campaigns and community expansion and management.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Develop, execute and optimize online customer acquisition and retention plan designed to maximize web site traffic, lead generation, order conversion and customer retention, including PPC, affiliate, partnership marketing/content integration, e-mail marketing, SEO and social media marketing.
2. Develop and execute traditional and innovative online marketing activities/programs (webcasts, viral marketing….)
3. Develop and execute programs to represent UFUUD and its products in blogs, newsgroups, feeds and forums.
4. Analyse and report on campaign performance and user behaviour; provide recommendations and strategies for continued improvement.
5. Refine and develop improved business processes to increase lead conversion to sales.
6. The Manager is accountable for meeting defined and measured objectives related to valid qualified leads and sales opportunities, and for providing a “closed-loop” marketing process.
7. The Manager must have thorough knowledge of and hands-on working experience with primary lead generation software and email marketing systems by also helping UFUUD in finding the right asset to manage the position and task
8. The Manager must be an excellent writer and verbal communicator.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related fields required
· At least 3 years experience in direct marketing with responsibility for driving end executing strategies and plans, measuring, analysing and reporting success.
· B2C marketing background on proven experience (especially) in successful e-commerce start ups environments.
· Proven experience in lead generation, online marketing, search engine marketing and optimization, and social media marketing and management.
· Proven experience implementing new online channels and lead generation opportunities.
· Proven track record of building a successful online marketing organization and practice that has been a leader in the industry.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
· Ability to manage and multi-task in a face-paced, high-growth environment.
· Flexibility and can-do attitude to manage unexpected situations successfully.
· Strong written communication skills and enthusiasm for the Internet and latest online marketing trends are a must.
· Experience in designing, implementing and analyzing marketing test and control experiments.
